My Favorite Thing

There are few, if any, things in the world that I like better than traveling down
a dirt road in the Bighorns on the way to explore a place or
return to a beloved spot.
It's not elegant travel, I'm dirty and tired when I get back home.
But my body and soul are refreshed and happy.
If I live to be 100 I will still think this is heaven on earth.  Diane

Me too, Diane. I love to go down a dirt road and get away from the hustle and bustle of life --and just enjoy God's creation. That's one reason George and I love hiking WAY back in the mountains when searching for a waterfall. It's like heaven on earth back there.

Hugs,
Betsy

What a breathtaking view Diane, I so badly want to visit your mountain. It's on my list again this year, I hope it works out this time.

Contrast that with ANY city, and there is simply NO contest! :c)

Me too, you are so lucky to live there........my Mom would have loved to be in the Mountains....she loved to go for walks! So I can see why you will always love it!
Thank you for your sweet comments on all my shoes.....I seem to have an obsession or maybe fascination with them lately!!!

You are so blessed to have found your heaven on earth - and we are so blessed that you share it. I always enjoy your posts about the area in which you live - so wild, so different from where I am - so majestic...I could go on and on!

I'm with you on that! When my soul is restless, I hop in my Jeep and off I go on a road trip to the Bitterroot or Blue Mountain. Kit

What a wonderful photo! I love the back country and have been through Wyoming. I love the openness of it.
