Winter Solstice

Winter solstice, the longest, deepest, darkest and sometimes coldest day of the year.  Even as it is the longest, it's heartening to know that tomorrow will begin the upward climb out towards the sun once more.

The sun is starting to set now at 4:30 pm and soon it will be very, very dark. My body clock gets all screwy when it gets dark so early. Our temps are still very mild although we don't have to use the ac which is a good thing. Hope you are having a great day. Tammy

Gorgeous shot, Diane! I didn't even notice the day seeming short yesterday as I was busy baking! :)

Hope all is happy at your house!
