Unearthed Treasures

In my junking today I found this beautiful stone hare which reminds me of the drawing of The Young Hare by Albrecht Durer.  I can't wait to find the perfect place for him in my garden.
And this large finial.  It's either an artichoke or a pine cone.  It isn't going to stay here - snow covers the entire yard right now.  I'm delighted with both of them.                    Diane

The Young Hare is one of my favorite images ever. You were very lucky in your treasure hunting!

They will both be wonderful in your garden. Doesn't seem that you have as much snow as they do in other parts, like NJ. I can't believe that there are still streets folks can't get down because of the snow drifts and not enough man power to clear them off. Crazy! Stay warm and happy crafting. Best wishes, Tammy

Those are so fun I had a beautiful bird bath out of the same concrete material and I left it outside the first winter in Alaska and it was a pile of rubble by spring.
I'm still bummed about that who knew that was going to happen ,I'll tell you someone who has half a brain It seems school is always in session for me Diane.
