Healthy AND Beautiful

Remember the egg scare of a couple months back?  I was assured at Safeway that they had pulled all of the eggs from the bad distributors.  So I went on purchasing eggs.  Two weeks ago I went to buy some eggs and there was not one carton in the case - not one!  Hmmmmm.   Even if I was to go back and get some I'm not sure if I could trust them.  Luckily we had purchased a dozen from a couple at the farmer's market last summer and I saved their brochure.  They have a small farm about 8 miles away from here and raise free range heritage chickens along with other animals.    I called her and she was more than happy to deliver some to us for $3.00 a dozen - as long as we want them!  You can't beat that.  Aren't they gorgeous?                        Diane

We have to trust the stores for our eggs. We actually got some today at Kroger's for .99 a dozen.

Wish we had access to some farm eggs ---or what I used to call 'yard' eggs.... YUM!!!

Glad you found some.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Diane, just found your blog and look forward reading more. I have a bowl fancy and was just wondering about that pretty little bowl in the pic. Can you tell me what make that is and maybe where you got it from.
Pop on over, it's good to make new friends
