Thank You!

The robins have been having so much fun dining on the little berries or apples in the tree in our sideyard.  All day I can hear them clucking and being very civilized as they stretch from branch to branch. Then they fly around the house to a little bird bath and have a nice cool drink.  This morning the noises changed to the aggravating screeches and awful noises that blackbirds make.  They were intimidating the robins who were lined up on the fence as the noisy, greedy blackbirds took over the tree.  I went out and hissed at them and Rascal took that as his cue to bark and whatever it was I was mad at.  The blackbirds flew away and the robins stayed!  The robins KNEW what we were doing!  And I could almost hear a  "Thank you!" from them as they went back to the dining and drinking.

Indeed, sometimes we have to ask the rude dinner guests to leave! :c)

Hi Diane, I love your potato peeling post. Absolutely adorable! I peel my potatoes way to thick too.

Haven't seen many birds about lately. Our weather has been dusty for a couple of days now. Just blah and hot, humidity up and down.

Hope you are having a happy hump day. :) Tammy

Great pics Diane! I too have a problem with the black birds, they empty the feeders so fast, and chase the song birds away.
