Beauty

A while back this was on someone's blog.  I'm sorry I don't remember who it was. Maybe it was Pondside. I loved it and want to pass it on.

A man (or woman) should hear a little music, read a little poetry and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.     - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Yes, I borrowed those words for a blog post a while back, Diane. I'm glad you liked them as much as I did. I recall that I took quite a bit of flack from people who thought the words were a bit elitist, but I didn't think that when I read them. How nice to read the words again and to look at the lovely image of the apples.

Beautiful quote to remember, Diane, especially today on 9/11..

I've been reading posts and watching 9/11 videos this morning. Makes me cry. Let's NEVER forget.

God Bless YOU and God Bless America,
Hugs,
Betsy
