Welcome June

What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade. Gertrude Jekyll Diane

When I think of June, I think of it being the month of marriages.... George and I got married on June 23...

As a little girl, we had big flying bugs in our yard--called June Bugs.... Haven't seen them since I left Virginia many years ago.

I'm not a summer-lover ---since I don't like the heat. But generally, June is not too bad (like July and August)....

Happy June to you, Diane.
Hugs,
Betsy

Perfect roses and the flower for June.Roses happen to be my favorite and that is good since both my birthday and anniversary come this month.

Ah, June! My birthday, my dad's birthday, my best friend's birthday, my parents' anniversary...what can I say? It's so wonderful in Michigan. We've waited so long for warm weather, then some complain about it. Can't be happy. June, with it's blue skies and fluffy clouds. June with it's lazy afternoons on the porch. June with it's sounds of summer. June, lying in the grass, looking up at the blue skies and clouds. Oh, how I love it.

As you know, it is hot, hot, hot here today. At least 115. If I had a girl, her name would have been Hannah. Congrats to your grand daughter and best wishes to you, Tammy :)
