Pansies and Robins

I showed you these ruffled pansies a while back but now the blue and yellow pansies are taking over and I'm just in love with them.  Too!!  Little pansies always remind me of a bunch of little faces looking up at me from a kindergarten class or birds nest or maybe a basket full of Pekingese puppies.

We have a nest of baby robins in our little apple tree, twice I've had to run the neighbor's cats away from the nest, once they had killed one. The little birds are getting ready to fly and it will be such a relief.  It's kind of funny, whenever a bird came near or even came around my neighbor's fence they had a fit.  But Rascal would follow me around out there and he didn't bother them at all.  I think the robins know who their friends are.  Diane

I think the birds know too Diane. Pansies are always the first I plant in the summer, I just think they're such happy little flowers.!
