Mama and Babies

This was a rare sight to me. This little wild turkey mama had at least 7 little "turklets". It was hard to count because they were bobbing along at the edge of the grass. At times like this I long for a better camera. But I love the portability of my little Canon 550. Below is another post for today and it's my first attempt at posting a video. Diane

That is so neat. I love watching birds and bugs and all those little creatures. I even liked discovering a little green spider in the wildflowers I cut today!!

I've never seen turkey babies - and certainly not many turkeys in the wild. You get the best pictures!
