Violets

The violets whisper from the shade
Which their own leaves have made;
Men scent our fragrance on the air,
Yet take no heed of humble lessons we would read.

I love violets, Diane... I have wild ones growing in my yard. My mother used to have African Violets in the house. She was good at growing them... I've always heard that African violets have to have the right window/light in order to do well... Well--my mama must have had the right window!!!!!

Lovely poem...
Hugs,
Betsy
