Take My Picture, Please

Today the chickadees were flitting around the feeder and not acting afraid of me. I trained my camera to catch the next one and look who perched there for a photo op! I think it's a house finch and he's such a pretty bright red. Diane

How regal sitting there, I did bird feeders the first year and then everyone said they attract bears so I took them down, this fall I need to put them back up for the sweeties! you are inspiring Diane!

Hi Diane, so sorry to hear about your mom's circumstances but so glad to hear that you were able to get her into a safe place. My parents divorced in 87. My day was seeing someone else whom he married. She has a physhe degree and has totally warped my dad. They don't speak to me or my brother anymore. C'est la vie. We didn't do anything to deserve it so their choice. Will you have to go clean out the family home? That will be a task for sure. Beautiful pictures you were able to take in the area. And that little finch is just the sweetet. I call all my friends chickadees! Have a wonderful Wednesday! :) Tammy PS I think in some government offices, they are trained to be curt and impolite -- just don't get that at all. Everyone is so uptight and living in fear these days. They need to get over themselves.

What a shot of this pretty little bird? I think he looks rather trusting of you and your camera Diane. I love that the birds are back!

What a pretty bird. We don't see much red on the island - I've never seen a cardinal here, but we have lots of Jays.

Great picture, Diane. That House Finch is so pretty.... Bet you'll get lots of visitors at your feeder --begging to have their picture taken.

We've had a wonderful day today at the beach... Beautiful weather after the rain yesterday (clear, sunny, breezy, warm---PERFECT)...

Hugs,
Betsy
