Quirky Gardens

There's nothing quite as delightful to me as discovering a hidden or unusual garden. Sometimes it might not be my cup of tea but a garden that reflects the character and personality of the owner, just gives me joy and lifts my spirits. Saturday I ran across one when I went to garage sales. I haven't gone back to take pictures but I will. In the meantime, this is one that I found also on Saturday. This little front yard garden is all set up for a tea party. It doesn't seem to matter that it's on a busy street. It's sweet and peaceful and very neatly taken care of. If you blow this up you can see the attention to detail in the front steps lined with tile. Diane

What a pretty garden! and you can tell that when the lattice work fills in it will be really stunning. Thanks for sharing Diane, lots of good ideas.

What a pretty garden - and how generous of the homeowners to take such care for the pleasure of passers by.

Hi Diane,
I agree that there is something wonderful about the personality of a garden, some are full of chaos, some are quirky, some are formal, and some are just a jumble of blooms...but every one of them is a thing a beauty. This garden is certainly one for sure.

I loved the peek into your place of creativity!

How beautifully kept for those who live there and those who get to enjoy it by only passing by. :c)

Hi Diane, I do think that you can tell alot about a person by looking at their yard (garden, landscaping, birdfeeders, etc.).... A person who generally doesn't take an interest in his/her home/yard is a person who generally doesn't take an interest in him or herself....

Gorgeous like garden you photographed.
Hugs,
Betsy

Gorgeous. I am a huge fan of skipping putting in a lawn and just having blooms everywhere!
