Nest

While walking Rascal in the south forty the other day I got too close to a little cedar tree. Apparently a robin had been watching me get closer and closer. Finally with an exaggerated flurry of its wings it flew out of the nest about 3 feet from my head. Since I was there I turned to look where it had come from and this is what I saw. I didn't see any eggs, just this beautiful nest.

Robins make such a beautiful nest, don't they? I'll bet within the week, there will be those beautiful Robin's Egg Blue eggs. :c)

I remember as a kid we found a little blue egg on the ground at school that had fallen out of a nest and we waited thinking for sure it would hatch.....what a nice little home! my helper was Mimi.

I love your blogpage. Such amazing surprises to find and such nice pictures. My husband just gave me a little camera. I'm hoping to learn to take some nice pictures, but you find such amazing things. I really think you must live in paradise.
