Morden Blush

This is the beautiful rose I planted this evening. Right now it's only small and doesn't have gorgeous blooms on it but I have high hopes. My friend, Kevin, who had the beautiful garden which I wrote about some time ago had this rose and I've wanted one since then.

My Furry Friends Friday will be Furry Friends Saturday because Rascal won't cooperate with his photo session - his mind is on his suppertime. Diane

That Canadian rose should do well in your cold climate, Diane - it was bred in frigid Morden Manitoba to withstand very cold winds and temperatures. Enjoy it!

That is beautiful and such a good picture. I like those roses that are double bloomed. My roses now have some buds. It has been a chilly month here, but I love it. I'm going to try getting some photos when my roses bloom, but I am nowhere near a pro with photography.

Hi Diane,
I promise that this rose will bring you so much joy. It is just one of my favorite roses in the garden.(I now have 7) It seems to multiply here in mine, and so I just keep digging up the new starts and finding a place for them. It takes the new plants about 2 seasons to bloom well, but they are free and I am a very patient gardener when things are free.lol!

A very lovely rose indeed. And the new postage stamp is so sweet. Loved seeing your old photos in the previous post. You are so fortunate to have them. Hope you have a great rest of the weekend. :) Tammy
