Playing With the Light

The light was almost gone today when I walked by these funny bottles sitting in the window. I love how the light plays through them. The light can be a great friend or your enemy when you're trying to get a good picture. But I don't need to tell you that. Just kind of interesting.

I have learned so much about photography since I started blogging. I never knew there could be so much difference in one picture from another... Light/dark/saturation/hue/brightness/color/etc. etc. etc.

I like your picture... The light is just so interesting.
Hugs,
Betsy

The light on these bottles makes a great picture.Isn't it interesting how we look at things differently when we think photography?

Hi Diane! I loved your morning light post and the variegated roses. What a great pic of you and your sister with your grandfather. And your journals are just gorgeous! I want to do that, but I guess blogging is sort of my journaling. Yes, I did grow up in the States. I was born in Laurel, Mississippi and moved between Texas and Louisiana every three years because my dad was in the oilfield tool business. Graduated in Louisiana and then married, moving around the south, divorced in 1991 and moved back to Louisiana from Georgia. I met my now husband on a blind date in New Orleans in 1992 and we've been together ever since. have been in Kuwait for 15 years, which was definitely not part of the plan but this is where I am at now. Hope you are having a great weekend. Thanks for dropping by! And thanks for sharing your lovely little cottage too. So pretty! Many blessings, Tammy

The Great Dane and I were just talking about light, and how it changes the paint colour in a room.
...it also shows up my dirty windows! I think I'll just go back and look at your pretty bottles.
