Necessities

You're going to be waiting for a while somewhere, what are you going to stick in your bag or purse to make sure you have something to do while you're waiting? I can't go anywhere without my pencils and a pad or my journal. My absolute necessities are my Papermate ClicksterGrip mechanical pencil and Black Stylist marker. My camera, of course, goes in first, and a book or magazine. I might throw in some crocheting too.
My husband can spend hours just people watching.
I'd love to know what you do while you're waiting. Diane

Most people fiddle with gadgets. That's not my thing! Crochet is portable and easy. Last summer I took a notepad and colored pencils. Wanted to journal and draw, but my drawing skills are very rusty! I also like to write down quotations I might see along the way when shopping. I missed many of your past posts. Don't know where the time goes. :) Love the story of Hard Cat! It's hard to capture the true beauty of the moment with my camera too. Sometimes the perfect shot just doesn't look so perfect through the lense. But I like my nifty little digital and couldn't imagine having something bulky to carry around. Hope you aer having a great day! Tammy

I have a second purse, well actually I have a couple, one with knitting and crocheting and embroidery..... the second has doll and bear making things that need hand work..... or I have my needle punch.... sometimes a sketch pad.... lately i have been so tired it may only be a book or I use the time to catch up on my day dreaming!!!!
I do need time to think about being creative.... lol!!!

I'm sorry Diane, but this post made me laugh, because it makes me realize that I am always ill prepared to wait anytime. I never have a pen in my purse, always forget my camera, and never remember to take a book along. Do you think you could rub off on me a little?
Beautiful pictures my friend!
hugs

I read. I never mind layovers in airports or delays - I just read. At home I have books stashed in each car, just in case TGD decides to check out a hardware store, or in case we get stuck in a traffic jam. I always get to the ferry early so that I can sit and wait, book in hand.

Oh, it's all about my Kindle these days. I love to read and I can pass hours just sitting there with it, escaping into another world.

I love to people watch and daydream. When I'm bored I play Tetris-that can really help the time to pass. Now, how creative is that! Love, Patsy
