High Country

Usually I love my little camera but when I take pictures of the mountains I'm disappointed. They were beautiful today, they didn't look crisp and clean but were shrouded by clouds and looked magical. I want to share them in all their glory with you but the camera just doesn't have that capability. Trust me to say they would just take your breath away. Diane

P. S. The tallest of the jagged bunch of mountains on your right is Black Tooth Mountain - 13,005 feet above sea level. The big rounded one to the left is Cloud Peak 13,167 feet. You can't see the top of it at all because it's shrouded by clouds much of the time like it is here.

Now THAT is a mountain, Diane!!!!! I know how you feel about pictures. Even with a fancy camera---it's best to see them in person. The camera just doesn't do the trick!!!

BUT---I think you did great and I loved seeing the mountains... Awesome!
Hugs,
Betsy
