Feeding Your Soul

These aren't hyacinths but they're as close as I had in my pictures.

......If of thy mortal goods thou art bereft,
And from thy slender store two loaves
to thee alone are left,
Sell one, and with the dole
buy hyacinths to feed the soul.
........................................ Saadi

And don't we all need that! Diane

Very pretty, Diane.... They are as pretty or prettier than hyacinths... That is definitely a great way to feed the soul. Others call is "eye candy"...

Hugs,
Betsy

Exactly, Diane. That was lovely. When I look throught the blossoms up through to the blue sky my soul is fed.

Hapy birthday to your daughter. Her birthday is the day before mine. I had a great birthday in Sri Lanka. Hope she had a fantastic day. How fortunate you are to have a potter in the family. Love the plates. We bought plates and bowls made from the trunks of pineapple trees when we were in Sri Lanka. They are so lovely. There were also ones made from coconut trees that were much darker in color. When I drink my morning coffee, I choose one of my many Starbucks coffee cups -- as it really is just the right size for my first cup. Then I made a second cup for the road and finish it off at school. Thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Hope things are warming up for you over there. Many blessings, Tammy

Diane this is my favorite saying of all time. I fed my soul today when I bought myself some roses and a beautiful little blooming campanula today at the grocery store. Man I'm full!
I loved your Spring pics in the previous post. Beautiful Bighorns.
Things are starting to melt here and it won't be long now before I see some bare ground. Are you ready for the mud yet?
hugs
