Cutcutcutcutcutcut

It's a joyful day when I see one of the first robins of spring. They return with a lot of chattering back and forth among themselves and should I surprise one, I get scolded. This robin seemed to be meditating for a bit. We've had numerous robin's nest in our trees, our front porch and in the neighborhood. It occurred to me one day that this is as much their home as it is mine. This is where they were born, this is where they raise their young, this is where they return. It's kind of nice to be part of such a big family of gentle creatures. Diane

I'm so glad to read this Diane. That is how I feel about all the birds in my garden as well. You are right, we are all one big happy family.

That's a beautiful thought, Diane. The robin looks right at home, as though looking around to see what's new since he was last there!

I love seeing the robins too Diane. It reminds me of the song we learned in kindergarten having to do with seeing the first daffodils and robins of spring!

I miss seeing the robins so much, since we do not have them here in Germany. They are a sure sign of spring! I have noticed that we have many of the spring time birds back here in our area already and they sing in the mornings. I love their song! I gives me hope that the cold will soon disappear and warmer spring days are not far off. Hope you are having a great week so far, Diane, enjoy the Robins! they are so pretty
