Rascal Doing What He Does Best

Today I turned Rascal off his leash when we got over by the south 40. Sometimes it just seems fair to let him be a dog and snoop around when I can watch him closely. What he likes to do more than anything else is smell things.

Sometimes if he gets a chance he'll find a set of tracks and just walk along sticking his nose down in each and every print.

Then I snap his leash in place and it's time to go home.
He's a great little dog. He constantly amazes me, he was uncontrollable when he was a puppy and wouldn't eat treats so I had to use my head a lot when I was training him. He teaches me so much. Diane

HI Diane,
your little Rascal probably earned that name huh? He is a darling little thing and I'm with you...sometimes they just need to be dogs. At least I try to convince myself that when T.T. Rabbit goes out and rolls in the horse pooh.
Have a happy Valentine's Day!!!
