Faded Memories

This is a photo of Jennie, the sister closest in age to me, and I. She's the younger one and I'm the one holding the kitty so he can have his picture taken.........poor kitty. I hope when I was young that I was always gentle with the little creatures. I was about 5 and Jennie was 18 months younger than me. We were all dressed up because we were in St. Louis visiting Mother's family. We lost Jennie a little over a year ago. Diane

Bittersweet memories, I love to look at all my old photos, but inevitably they make me cry...... sometimes life is just sad...... I guess that's why we take comfort in our friends!

I love old photos. Do you look at old images of yourself and remember what you were feeling at the time?
I'm sorry you've lost your sister - one of life's biggest losses, I'm sure.

You are both lovely girls. I can see traces of both of you in this far away picture. I'm going to snag it and keep it in my computer if that's alright. I love it. xobean
