November Colors

Everything's beginning to take on the November colors now, walnut, burnt umber, sepia, raw umber and my favorite, Payne's gray. I look for the beauty in those colors but every so often something jumps out at me like this brilliant red bottle, made even more brilliant by the sun streaming through it. Diane

You make me want to go and get a canvas and paint........ I want to go and buy umber and sepia and Payne's gray tubes of oil paint...

Hi Diane,
I'm with Denise. I want to dig out the oils and start slapping down the paint. Fall's wonderful colors are all so amazing. They are pretty much already gone here in my part of Idaho. I know you must be loving all that beauty there in lovely Wyoming.
Hugs,
June

I was just talking to someone else on another blog how much I love this time of year. I love the ENDS of Fall---including those 'drab' colors. Maybe it's because I love Thanksgiving and Christmas so much ---and I would love to see a tiny bit of snow this year. SO--that excitement is already inside of me. I also love having a roaring fire going in our fireplace. It's just one of my favorite times of the year.

AND--your RED bottle makes me think of Christmas... SO---let's celebrate1!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

I feel the same way. I used to paint but haven't picked up a brush in so long I don't know if I'd remember how. I love the picture Diane, the red against that background and the sun is beautiful. Great shot!

I don't know if the last comment I made took! So here it is again just in case:
