Gratefulness

November, at least in our part of the country, brings with it barrenness. Leaves gone, fruits gone, many of the birds gone, and many of the things we enjoy doing also gone until warmer times again. Curiously it also brings gratitude. I choose gratitude.

Gratitude is definitely the better choice.Even during the barren times there is always something to be thankful for.Have a happy day.

I agree with Ruth. We can all choose gratitude --over many other alternatives. Fall comes and goes ---and so does Winter... That's just life!!!!

Fall also means that the earth is at rest, and with it comes snow! I'm grateful for that, along with the many things this season does have to offer. The smells, cool days perfect for long walks, and early evenings, perfect for time on my blogs!

Oh, I do too Diane... for it's in this quiet time of year that we get to reflect on what is to come. And it does, every year... filling our hearts with more joy and gratitude.
