Gets Me Every Time

Do you have a comment, joke, phrase or cartoon that makes you laugh every time you hear it?

I have quite a few but I was only able to think of a couple as I was writing this.

One is from Designing Women - One of the girls is talking to the other and says, "I make it a point never to date a guy with a bullet hole in his pants!"

The next is also from Designing Women - Anthony is relating an incident that happened that day at the grocery store where he works. A product display, which was very tall, started falling from the top and he was trying to redeem the situation. "I tell you it was a chain reaction from hell!"

The cartoon and then the video clip about herding cats and then there's the cartoon of Ziggy where everyone is running out from a planetarium with their hands in the air and terror on their faces and Ziggy is just arriving and he says "NOW what?!" I already made myself laugh writing them. Diane

Lots of things make me laugh... Seeing I Love Lucy always makes me laugh.. I used to love a comedian, Foster Brooks. Remember him???? I loved Jerry Lewis--way back when. Also Bob Hope. The newer comedians don't make me laugh nearly as much as some of the older ones. I loved Bill Cosby... Remember Candid Camera???? One of my fav's...

Hugs,
Betsy

Very cute! Oh and I love Ziggy ;)

I can't think of any off of the top of my head but I know there are many!

Thank you so much for your sweet compliments on my blog and my article! I really appreciate it!

I have so many Diane, lots of my favorites being from my favorite show, Becker. That show cracks me up every day, I think I've seen all the episodes at least 20 times. In school, there was a guy that came to class with his bathrobe tie as a neck tie. The girl sitting next to me asked him where he got the snazzy tie, and he said it "fell down from Heaven" to which she replied, "it looks more like it jumped up from Hell". I about fell off my chair.

I don't have your curly hair . . .
I didn't get your beautiful porcelein skin . . .
You didn't give me your wicked flair for design . . .

However, your legacy of laughter will live on through me. I am so fortunate to share the same sense of humor with you. I LOVE IT! I wouldn't trade that trait for ANYTHING!

Even your anecdotes made me laugh!
