Free Food EVERYWHERE! Hurry!

It was slightly raining this morning but it didn't stop the raid on the Canadian Cherry. What a ruckus! I grabbed my camera and tried to capture some of them - I'm sorry the pictures are a bit blurry and drippy. There were robins, waxwings, chickadees, sparrows, even a blue jay but I wasn't quick enough to get him. By the time I had enough sense to get onto the patio out of the rain..........they were all gone. Diane

Great pictures, Diane.... Looks there won't be much free food on that tree for long... Those birds seem to be gobbling it all up.... You saw a bunch of birds, didn't you? GREAT pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy

There is nothing so cool as seeing a raid on the berries by so many birds. I remember as a kid seeing a flock of cedar waxwings devour some pyracantha berries... amazing!
