Birney, Montana

Not really right at Birney, the Gilliland ranch is probably 20-25 miles further down the road. That's the place I was looking for when we drove up the Tongue River a couple weeks ago. If you'll notice the Gilliland ranch is another 6 miles further off the road. Too far for that day. I know the people a little who live there and I'm sure they'd be glad to show us the place now. Birney people are some of the nicest in the country.
This is a picture of me when we lived there. I was about 5. That pole in the background has always worried me. Diane

Oh what a cute little gal you were ---and still are!!!! If I were you, I'd go back to your home place and take some pictures NOW. I'm sure it is very different.

Have a wonderful Saturday.
Hugs,
Betsy

Neat pictures. That must've been a wonderful time in your life. Next time just plan it so you can go those extra miles. P
