Alaska-Rafting on the Kenai River

The next day Gregg and Amanda took me rafting. It was about 10 miles downstream and the water was once again that beautiful turquoise color. It was a peaceful trip, no whitewater, lots of wildlife to photograph. I guess I don't need to tell you this is an eagle, there were lots of eagles and eagle nests along the river in that particular place.
A merganser duck with her brood along with several adopted ones also all perched on a log jutting out into the water.

Two different bears put in their appearance for the excitement of us all. This was a young one, it really stands out against the foliage on the bank.
Gregg - I don't think he knew I was taking his picture.

Amanda and I looking dazzling in our rubber suits. We didn't even get a splash but I guess just in case.
The days were flying by. They wanted me to see as much as I could and there WAS so much to see and experience. The river was a whole new experience. Diane
