Step Into My World

Journaling is my world. This is where I live. Recently my sister and I were having a discussion about keeping a journal. She didn't see any reason to keep track of things day by day. I don't know any other way to do it. That doesn't make either one of us wrong, just different. It's a way to keep track of what's going on in my life, to try out color schemes, to b....h, to cry, to settle arguments, it's just a place that I love to be.

I've included a few pages to share with you. I keep a little lined notebook by my recliner and in the morning when GMA is on I record the previous day's events. If things happen on that day that I don't want to get away from me I make a little sticky note and save it to that page, a black butterfly, the wonderful smell of fresh ground coffee, a song I heard.....
Do you keep a journal? I'd love to know.

Hi Diane, YES---I have journalled for years. I find it easy to write things down --especially when I am wrestling with a decision. I write pros and cons --and it always helps. I love to write. I guess you have to enjoy writing in order to want to journal.

I don't necessarily keep track of every single day--but I keep track of things on my mind at certain times. My blog is now my daily journal --but I still keep a written journal for more personal things.

I love your fancy journal. Mine is much plainer!!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

Love the "idea" of it, but don't have the discipline to do it like you do Diane. Beautiful way to document day to day life!

I wish I could. I always start one when we go away but after a few days it goes by the wayside. I think now that is why I do my blog. I know it's not quite as personal as a journal but I guess it's the next best thing. It looks like you have a beautiful journal!
Have a wonderful day Diane. :)

Hello my bloggy friend! WooHoo!!! Party day is just a week away! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's creative spaces. I have a request... I thought it would be easier for everyone to leave comments if we all turned off comment moderation and word verification during the day (or maybe week) of the party. To do that, go to customize, settings, comments...then scroll down to turn off comment moderation and word verification.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a fabulous week. See you next Friday!!
BTW...I think your journals are lovely. I don't make entries in mine nearly as often as I'd like to.
