Homer Spit

Gregg flew us to Homer Spit where Amanda met us with the car and her and I drove back home. This isn't very clear but I took it from the plane and the day was very hazy. The spit is a piece of land projecting into the ocean and it's quite interesting. Cute little shops and eating places everywhere. I love the catchy names - Spit Sisters, Better Sweaters, I should have written them down.
Below is an old wreck of a boat which I understand someone lives in yet. We drove a little closer to get a better picture and I was rewarded with 2 for 1. A bald eagle sat patiently on the mast waiting for his photo op.

Amanda and I along with Brutus the big dog, Django in the foreground and Guiness on my lap. What a crew. I laughed so much at those animals.

Beach along the ocean. A beautiful day. Diane
