Pinecones and Roses

Tuesday, June 2, 2009

I think it might be dangerous to some people but I feel if you really love something and you just can't walk away from it, and you can possibly afford it, (even if you have to skimp on the groceries) buy it. You'll never be sorry. This is an example. I found this cushion and even went back to the store to see if it was still there. I bought it several years ago and it's been everywhere in my house, it's just so wonderful wherever it is. It was a triplet, the others being faith and charity. I hope the people who bought those love them equally. At $40.00 it was the only one I could afford.

If you have time you might hop over to http://stinkpotstudio.blogspot.com In case you don't know it, it's my daughter Amanda. I think her blog is looking so beautiful. Love to you all, God bless you, Diane

Beautiful and I think that there are times when we should surround ourselves with things we love... Sacrifice is not a bad thing... I will keep an eye out for the others...Would that be fun or what to have all three!

Diane, All of us have special possessions which we love --and never regret having. My big German clock is my possession. Everytime I moved, I would take my clock in the car with me---and wouldn't let it out of my sight.

Your pillow is gorgeous... If you can only have one of them, I'm glad you chose HOPE.

Hugs,
Betsy

That is exactly what I do when I want something. I ask myself what can I live without to obtain it. sometimes, it's pbj sandwiches for a few days. :)

Good for you.

Every now and again, we just have to splurge, don't we? You will never regret getting that pretty cushion. :c)

If there is something I really like and can't stop thinking about it I will usually go back a few times to make sure I really want it.
That pillow is absolutely gorgeous and for myself the word "Hope" is something that is with me all the time.
Hugs
Jill.
