Getting REady

Soon I will leave for my trip to Alaska. I'm going to leave here the 2nd and I'll be back the 7th of July. Not a big trip for most people but for a homebody like me I might as well be going to Europe. Don't laugh at me, I know I'm hopeless. I'm really looking forward to seeing Amanda and Gregg in their own place, seeing the beauty of Alaska, just sitting on the deck having a cup of coffee, walking on the beach and meeting all of their animals. I'm trying to get my life in order so I can leave with some sense of peace. Diane

I don't think it's odd to feel that way at all Diane. I am also pretty much a homebody and until I went to New Orleans back in the spring, I had not flown for oh, nine years? Five days away would be a big trip for me too. So hope you fully can soak in the beauty and fun of a break in the routine. :c) Hugs to you!

Hi Diane,
Betsy from Tennessee sent me over to your blog and I'm glad she did. My husband grew up in the Big Horn area and we have spent a lot of time camping near Park Reservoir with his family over the years. Where exactly do you live? We are planning a two week trip up there in July and we're excited!
