Blue Heaven

This huge bumblebee was partaking of the goodness these mountain bluets had to offer today. It was SO big, it looked big enough to pet. It was fun just watching the bees enjoying the flowers.
And here are some who took a shortcut by way of the bar.

God bless you, Diane

I would much rather see the bees on the flowers than at the bird feeder.Hope you are enjoying the warmer weather of spring.

I have BIG bees on my humming bird feeder...... But that is ok! They are welcome..... I just sit and watch the hummers and the bees do battle for the good stuff!

:) Love the color of your blog!

These photos are fantastic Diane! You got some great shots. I love taking photos of bees on the flowers.
I think it's the nectar in the feeder that is attracting the bees and I also say that's okay...they can share!
Have a great day Diane :)
Hugs
Jill.

Hi Diane, OHHHHHH---I've never seen a bumble bee at my hummingbird feeder.. I've seen ANTS (which drive me crazy) but not bees.

We have plenty of bees and wasps here.. In fact, when our 'bug man' came to spray this past month, he got down a small wasp's nest in the eaves of our house... Yipes!!!!

Love your blue flowers.
Hugs,
Betsy
