This is one of my favorite birdhouses. One of my daughters gave it to me several years ago and I always smile when I look at it. I keep it in my patio/sanctuary and it seems to be so fitting. The other day I ALMOST caught a chickadee (with my camera) hopping inside to see if it would be desirable living quarters, they're too fast. But what a picture that would have made! A lovely birdhouse Diane. I would love to have one on my deck but unfortunately we aren't allowed to here so for now I enjoy my hummingbird feeder.

I love it. Simple play on words.
My hubs and me were just discussing getting or building a birdhouse as I have tons of birds here. I love listening to the birdsong. It so relaxes me.
Now that is cute! My sweet hubbie is wanting to get out into his work shop and make some bird houses.. I hope he gets to do that sometime this summer...........

What a nice post. Reading IS terribly important to children. From the reader they learn about the world around them, they learn to use their imaginations and they enjoy the company of someone that cares for them. L ~ P
