Some of you may remember me writing about Kevin's garden (June 18, 2008).
Today I drove by the property and glanced over at the place where Kevin had the most amazing garden in the entire town and the Victorian home where he lived. Nothing left but a hole in the ground and ugly orange plastic wrapping which is supposed to keep people away from the mess. There they were though, bright yellow daffodils standing tall out of the weeds. New growth. New beauty in the ruins.
Some of the shrubs are in full bloom.
Life goes on and there is beauty in the weeds.

Oh how sad... Is Kevin gone???? Wonder what happened. It's hard to see a beautiful garden change to weeds. How sad is that!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh that was beautiful..... Life among the ruin....... That is God in the daffodils..... Wonder if you could take those daffodils....... That would be such a sweet blessing for you...... find someone and ask!
I love seeing the flowers continue to bloom, even when, or in spite of not being tended. :c)
Daffodils are the one thing we see around old homeplaces over and over. Might not see anything else that tells you there once was a home there, but the daffodils do.

I so love it when God takes out his paint brush again after hard cold winters!
