Pinecones and Roses

Being the poet that I am and calling forth the riches of this day I ran across these grape hyacinths. They were like bluish purple jewels clinging to their bright green leaves. Besides them, all around me today was old man winter's death grip on the earth around me hating to give up his wintery grip. He's going to lose I know, sooner or later, spring will win and he will go slithering off into the sunset preparing himself for a triumphant return next November.
Hope you're day has been lovely. God bless you, Diane
