Spring!!

For a long, long time I tried to find the little chickens like my mother (the Easter bunny) placed in our baskets. Finally about 5 years ago I found these. They are a bit worse for wear and some of them are missing important parts but I've cherished them. They're much too fragile to do much with but I set them out among the eggs at Easter anyway.

Then a few days ago I walked into Safeway and what do you know, babies! Somehow each one of them seems to have its own personality.

Hope you're having a wonderful first day of spring.

God bless you, Diane

Oh My Gosh Diane! I haven't seen these in years! It brings back so many memories from Easter, and the smell of my basket! I hope to find them here or in Iowa. Thanks for sharing!!!!!

Diane, this is such a fun photo share! I remember these, too. I don't have any, but I was just telling the college kids here, yesterday, that Easter baskets used to be a lot different than they are today! Of course they laughed at me! This is such a sweet reminder of change and gentle blessings we often take for granted.
