Kindred Souls

Yesterday when I asked if you had read Walking Through the Fire I just wondered if I might have any kindred spirits who had read it also. I'm sure you've read things at just the right time in your life which went straight to your heart and never left. Such is the case of this book. It's a little paperback which I read in 1977.

It's the true journal of a girl who finds out she has Hodgkin's disease when she's pregnant with her third child, no money, when her husband find's out she's sick he leaves her, not only to deal with the illness but how to support the two other children as well as herself. She is so joyful, has such faith in God and so wise she was just such an inspiration.

This just went through my mind the other day and I found it on the net so I can re-read it or at least save it. God bless you, Diane

Hi Diane,no I have not read or even heard about this book.I do agree that God sends to us just what we need.Sometimes this comes in the form of a book or a friend or a verse of scripture.I have seen this in my life many times.Praise God for His working.
Blessings,Ruth
