Color

One hand, one side, one side of the brain, the right or the left, something pulls me towards color. Paint colors, bright pink purses, purple shoes, lime green t shirts, lipstick red chairs, colorful yarns, colorful paints, color, color, color. I love color.

On the other side, creams, vanillas, soft whites, seashells, rooms that are all shades of these colors, peaceful, serene, lots of textures, the colors of soft colored birds and mosses. This side calls me too.

What to do, what to do! This is the way it's been all my life. The constant battle within me. I finally decided to let the color run rampant in my art room.........and kitchen..........and garden..........and then have the other side, the side that hungers for the soft creams and textures have the rest of the house...................for now. God bless you, Diane

Color can evoke so many things. It's interesting how we each have such definite preferences. I love bold, bright colors, esp. blues. Pastels? Not so much. Leaves me feeling blah. :c)

I love colors also, Diane... I'm not sure I could pick a favorite--but I guess, in the Summer, it's yellow, and in the winter, it's blues/purples. BUT--I like most all colors..

I use the creams and neutrals in my home, and would never choose primary colors in my home. But--I'd wear most anything. I even like BLACK.
Hugs,
Betsy
