Bee My Guest

This is a section of a block I have out by the alley for the deer, or squirrels or whoever is hungry. Two days ago it was a sunny beautiful day and as I walked by I noticed two honeybees dining on it. I couldn't believe that the bees were out this early. But I was glad I had something for them.
God bless you, Diane

Hi Diane!
They come out on sunny days when the sun warms their hive. They stay close to it so they can survive to get back home, so their hive must be close to the alley. In the summer, you should be able to track down the hive, knowing it isn't far from the block.
Interesting creatures!

Is that a nice sign of Spring, Diane????? I hope so... It's warm here now and is supposed to rain tomorrow--and then get cold Sunday night AGAIN.... Darn!!! ha

Wow, I did a double take on this photo until I spotted something that looked like corn, lol. We certainly need the honey bees as I hear their numbers are declining.
Have a great weekend Diane.
Hugs
Jill.
