Kids

Buttons and Lace had some really cute stories about kids on her blog today. It reminded me of one of my own.

When Hannah was about 3 years old we took her to church with us at the Episcopal Church. The minister is fine looking in his white alb with the beautiful lace with black underneath. He's a kid at heart and always has children's church by calling the little ones forward and he sometimes ends up crawling around on the floor with them illustrating a story. On the way home she said , "Mom, I really like that godfather but I don't like that dress he wears."

God bless you, Diane

Too funny Diane! You never know what kids are going to say. Remember "Art Linkletter's Kids Say the Darndest Things"? It was one of my favorites, because kids are so unpredictable! Thanks for sharing your memory!
Blessings,
Laurie

Kids are going to say what kids are going to say regardless of who is around.......... I bet she does not remember that and I bet she giggles at the reminder...........

Have a blessed Tuesday..... We have ice everywhere so we are IN THE HOUSE!

Kids are just so precious for a number of reasons and that they can make us smile years later for something they said in complete innocence is a treasure for certain. Thank you so kindly for stopping by my blog and leaving such warm greetings...I've enjoyed your blog as well (especially the gratitudes...I try to do five a day)...surely I'll be back!

I took Sam with me one Sunday and we had a supply priest who happened to be a woman. When Mother Peggy came to him for the blessing, he looked up at her and said, "You're a very good woman." She simply smiled and said, "Why, thank you." :c)
