A Better Mousetrap

I like to feed these characters even though they don't want to stay out of my bird feeders. I have separate feeders for them and others for the birds but lately they've been wrecking my chickadee feeder and it was getting pretty battered so I went to the feed store today and bought a new one. I'm keeping the squirrel feeders full and I put up my new feeder. It's a clear round ball that seems to make a lot of sense to me. And it's slippery so the squirrels can't land on it...............I don't think!!!!
I'll let you know.
God bless you, Diane
Just so you know, this is a picture I took at the city park where they're really well fed. Mine don't look quite so fat.

Good Luck Diane with the new feeder. Luckily, so far, I haven't had trouble with the squirrels...BUT--they are around SO one of these days, they'll find them...

You are listed in my blog tomorrow--so be sure and check it out in the morning.
Hugs,
Betsy

What a cute picture Diane! I myself miss the squirrels, we don't have any around our neighborhood. I don't know why. One here is really rare. When I see one now, it's like a big excitement! Wierd!

Squirrels can be persistent,so good luck. One thing I have done is put a 'slinky'around the feeder pole. This deters them for the most part.

ah! Squirrels can be so pesky, hey?
Guess what? Before Christmas, I in the town over from us, I noticed, what I thought was a rabbit on the side of the road running along. I slowed down and got a closer look, it was a snow white squirrel! I'm guessing it was albino? Odd indeed. I was telling my ds about it, he said how weird is that? One of his college professors is writing a book about albino squirrels! Just had to share. Oh, the prayer shawl is super easy to make...your basic double crochets.

Oh, but they are persistent buggers! Hope the new feeder is less welcoming to them. :c)
