Back to the Drawing Board

I happened to notice today that my brand new feeder was knocked down on the ground and cracked as well as chew marks around the feeding holes???? I have no idea how this was done but I have a pretty good one as to what kind of critter did it.
I have a nice peanut dispenser for them but for some reason they'd rather tear up the other feeders.
They 're going to come around anyway and steal the bird food so I figure if I feed them maybe they won't bother the bird food. It has worked pretty well before but now it isn't. So tomorrow I guess I'll study the situation and see what to do. I don't want to have too much commotion around the birds because I don't want to upset them. Like I said --back to the drawing board.
God bless you, Diane

Well I'm sure you'll figure out something, Diane.. Is it happening at nights??? I bring most of my feeders inside at nights --and only leave the ones that hang over our sliding doors. So far, nothing has gotten into any of our feeders. BUT---if I happen to leave things out at nights, something definitely gets into the bird food (probably a raccoon or opossum)..

Sorry about your new feeder.
Hugs,
Betsy

ACK! Little buggers! Hope you can think of a good solution Diane. :c)

Those pesky little squirrels....hmm, maybe they need their feeder filled with birdseed instead of peanuts. Hope you fixed the problem Diane.
Have a great Sunday...
