Weather

The weatherman asked tonight if we knew how long it had been since it was 40 degrees. The answer - 10 days. It seems like it's been two months. My husband has been taking Rascal for his walk, he's been picking things up at the grocery store, he even had to take our Christmas things to Mother at the nursing home so I wouldn't have to get out. That hurt. I really wanted to spend some time with her for Christmas. I called her to tell her he was coming over to bring some stuff for her. I really think she looked forward to having him to herself.

We don't have much snow on the ground, just bitterly cold weather. Hope you who are also dealing with the weather stay nice and warm and safe inside. God bless you, Diane

Diane, You are much better off staying inside during this weather. It will PASS--although I'm sure it can get depressing. Your sweet Mama will understand. AND--you'll have plenty of opportunity to see her.

Hang in there and just relax and enjoy Christmas at home. Stay WARM!
Hugs,
Betsy

Stay warm Diane & take care of yourself, so that you can visit a lot more, later. I'm sure that did hurt.

I know how you feel Diane about not spending the time with your Mom but like Betsey said ...she will understand. There will be many here that can't get home because of the weather and flight cancellations, bad road conditions but we will all make the best of it.
The main thing is that you have to protect yourself from the cold.....this weather will pass soon or at least we hope it will.
Take care Diane.
Hugs
Jill.
