Stop...Stop.....Stop












These pictures are from last January. We'd gone on a little ride out in the country and these two eagles were sitting on the two fence posts right near the highway. I couldn't spit out what I wanted to say, "Eagle,eagle, stop,stop."My poor husband was trying to find a safe place to pull over and I was trying to snap some pictures and as soon as the eagles heard the car slowing down, of course they took off. I got some shots anyway. It was a good day.

I know the feeling,sometimes the right words don't come out quick enough.Poor Hubby,eventually he knows what I want.Birding and photoraphy aresuch fun.Isn't God good to allow us to do these things.

Wow. The best sight I ever saw was an elephant looking in a shop window in downtown Madras. I was excited to see a stork's nest in Spain. But I've never seen a wild eagle.
