Roughing It

This icy cold weather has all of us having to improvise and Rascal's no exception. He's not very happy that he isn't getting his regular walks and can't stay outside as long as he likes to. Well he's not alone. We're all having to change our life some. I'm just thankful that we don't have any frigid emergencies to contend with, too. We did slip to Safeway today only to be confronted with the store being very cold because their heat was out and the checkers were in VERY bad moods because the doors were wide open half the time. Oh, dear.
God bless you, Diane

Hi Diane, I empathise with your situation there. I think Rascal has the right idea curl up in a ball, bury your head and wait for a break in the weather!
Blessings to all of you,
and Keep Warm!!

That deep freeze is hitting us here as well Diane. Sure wish I could curl up like Rascal and stay inside. We had some more snow on the way home from my treatment this afternoon and the roads were not nice.A few places we had to turn around and take another route as some cars got stuck trying to make it up the hill.
Keep warm and curl up like Rascal...but in a nice cozy chair! It has to end sometime.
Hugs
Jill.

Diane, Glad you could get out for a little bit even though the heat was out at Safeway... Just getting out probably felt good though!!!

Rascal has the right idea... Wish I was small enough to curl up into a ball when I'm cold!!! ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Diane,

This is Amanda's friend Itch. I've been meaning to comment on your blog for a while now -- I love it! Thanks to a post you had a few weeks ago, my geraniums were brought inside from the deck, even though it rarely gets below freezing here in Olympia. Well, good thing I did...because we've had a cold snap the past few days! ("Cold" is a relative term when you're comparing Wyoming and western Washington!) Anyway, love your blog and this picture of Rascal is so cute.

Rascal is so cute all bundled into his bed! I dare not tell Rascal, the two kitties here, are too spoiled & require a heating pad (auto-off switch) under their bedding at night, lol!
