Sepias and Soft Colors

Just doing some experimenting with my camera. Inside I'm not happy with the flash, it looks too brazen and bright to me. If I turn the flash off it's too dark unless I do some editing and them I'm pretty pleased with the unusual sepia tones that it produces. Maybe if I would read the book I might find an easier way around the bright flash.
I've seen the mourning doves around feeding on the ground beneath the feeders for the last week or so. This summer we had so many around. I don't know where they went. Now I'm seeing a few more again. God bless you, Diane

I love the sepia tones also. Hehe you sound like me. I got my camera over a year ago and still have not read up on everything. I keep saying it will be a winter project after the holidays

Beautiful pictures, Diane. I love the doves--and haven't seen them around here since summer. My hubby has a good camera which can get rid of the 'glare' when it flashes. Mine is just a 'point and shoot' one--and you get just what you get!!! ha

You did a lovely job on the photos and with #2 I really like the color of it. Flash is a tough one for me as well especially with candles....maybe a filter would help depending on the kind of camera you use. Thank goodness for the editing programs!
Have a great day Diane.
Jill.
