Cold here today, a good time to stay inside and enjoy that. What a nice feeling!
It seems to me that the bright oranges and yellows are just a little to brazen after Halloween and before Thanksgiving. I've never been real crazy about the cornucopia idea (just me!) and some of the gadgety consumerism things that they push for this season. I prefer the quieter colors more in fitting with the season outside, a little more subdued. So it was a good day to play house and move things around - no, not furniture! I couldn't have put it better Diane, I feel the same way, I love the subtle fall colors, the warm pallett brings a peacefulness to it all.
Your post about the election didn't come up on your site. But I agree it's time for parties to unite. I have nothing against the Republican party at all. We just need to put differences in the past and work together for a better future for our families.
