A few years ago I decided not to bring the geraniums in for the winter, to just close my eyes, swallow hard, and let Jack Frost have them. It's not because I'm mean or that I don't like them, it's just that they never make it healthy through the winter. We don't have a good place for them, then in the spring I set them outside to harden off during the daytime and they just start looking good and I forget and leave them outside during the night and they die, after I've nursed them through the winter.
So this year my husband wanted me to bring a few inside to keep. "I'll take care of them." he said.
Now every so often I hear, "Did you water the geraniums?" God bless you, Diane

Ha---It's like the dog we got for my sons when they were young.. Duchess was THEIR dog--but guess who took care of her???????
I have two pots of geraniums that I've had for years. I bring them into the garage during the winter (there's a big double window in the garage) --and they seem to do fine. Geraniums aren't my favorite flower--but the deer don't like them and they do give lots of color in the yard!!!
Sort of like "yeah Mom, I will take care of the puppy!" I do hope they make it this time, keep us posted on the progress! Blessings, Laurie
I let mine go too Diane. How nice to have a few inside to enjoy!
