Pink October

Cleaning out my cottage today I put together this little vignette for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
So many women I know personally and online are at this time fighting or have fought this incredible life changing thing. My heart goes out to them every day and they are always in my prayers. I have never seen such bravery, good humor and absolute joy as I have in these women. I have laughed through tears at some of their stories as they bravely coped with treatments and adjustments to no eyelashes, baldness, surgery and all the other miserable side effects. God bless each and every one of you.
I am so humbled. Diane

Diane, beautiful words, a beautiful photograph and a beautiful heart. We are women. We are sisters. We stand together. We think that other women's courage is more than we could do ourselves. And yet. You may be humbled by the strength and the spirit but I sense very much that the same strength and spirit lives within you. You've shown that tonight. Bless you ♥

Diane, love your post! After treament I started a local women's cancer support group. These women are amazing, I must say. One thing that I'll never forget, is how positive everyone was at chemo treatments. They helped me to be strong. I actually looked forward to chemo treatments just to be around these women. That's why I had to start a support group so they could still be in my life.
To Life!
