I'm better today, just in time for a party. My husband's birthday's today so we made it festive. First, I made breakfast(he usually does). Then I made a big hotpot of chili, made his bed for him, we had chili for lunch AND supper. He'd rather do that than go out for his birthday. I bought him a teeny tiny cake, just enough for two pieces each and a gift of a couple new work shirts. He heard from all the girls and two of the granddaughters, got cards and telephone calls and he feels good today. He didn't even work, just did what he wanted to do which is usually work anyway. I think he had a nice birthday, I think this evening he's a happy man.

Happy birthday to the man of the hour...sounds like he was pampered quite nicely and I'm glad he enjoyed his day!
